PART I

d. Confrontational Interview

5. Explain why it is more difficult to follow terrorist suspects because of their knowledge of surveillance techniques and the way law enforcement must operate differently from investigations of most criminals. Cover the basic three reasons why a terrorist is unlikely to cooperate with authorities.

6. Describe the ability of terrorists to use court proceedings as a forum through which to promulgate their political views.

7. Describe various interview techniques proven effective in the interrogation of terrorists.
