To prepare for this Assignment:

Review articles on unconscious biases provided in the week 2 Learning Resources
Bring to mind an example of an intercultural interaction you had with someone about whom you had pre-conceived ideas because of their cultural background. How did you react? What did you think to yourself? Why? Is this a common reaction for you in an intercultural situation?
Think about your own behavior during this interaction. How much intercultural competence did you demonstrate? If you could go back to this interaction, what would you change and why?

Explain in your paper with four parts in which you:

Relate a story of a time when an implicit (unconscious) bias you have influenced the way you interacted with someone.
Looking at the website on Strategies to Address Unconscious Bias, choose one or two of the strategies provided and explain how following those strategies would help you address your implicit bias and how it could change the way you interact with the person from your story.
