Question - Call center A processed 1.2 million phone orders for a total of 2.4 million items. 50% of the orders are new customers and it takes 7 minutes to set up an order for a new customer. 50% of the orders are returning customers who agreed to have their credit card information saved, in which case it only takes 3 minutes to set up an order. It takes 2 minutes to process each item ordered. The practical capacity of all call center operators is 20 million minutes and total call center costs are 7.8 million.
Suppose one customer agrees to have her credit card information saved. How much does the call center save on every future order of this customer?
