In this article you will read about how management is implementing strategies and techniques into a 90-day rule philosophy. Their thought processes lean towards believing that if a brand-new employee is guided properly with things such as assigning a buddy, hire bonuses, or teaching proper work habits, they tend to want to stick around much longer (Cutter, 2022).

This article is definitely worth a read because it gives insight on how management strategize how they are aiming to keep employees for the long run which is important because it aligns with our studies this week. You can see this alignment when we read about how managers are assigned informational roles in order to collect and gather information (openstax.org). The information these companies are gathering for their 90-day rule will help them understand what else they need to implement in order to have employees (stakeholders) be satisfied enough with their jobs to stay with the employer. The decisional roles of management are also displayed when management has to decide to withhold benefits such as health insurance in order for employees to strive to stick around longer (openstax.org).

Although this article informs us of strategies being implemented in order to keep employees with the company for at least a year, one area in which they could have strengthened would be shedding light to the types of values and corporate culture a company is offering because it has higher influence than strategies when trying to motivate employees in a workforce (openstax.org).
