Part 2
(1) Is the role of the internet and media significant enough to add it to the list of important social institutions? Yes or no and explain your answer based on the function of the internet/media as an institution in society.
(2) How have these 5 or 6 institutions worked together to maintain a stable society, and can they continue to do so, given the diminishing trust of the general public in them?
(3) In this time of (hopefully almost) post-pandemic, are society's needs for social institutions changing, are we seeing a lack of confidence in the foundational institutions that have been the bedrock of society and if so, where is society headed?
(4) At this point in time it is also important to address the issue of "societal cohesion". Do we see sufficient trust in institutions to maintain a cohesive society? OR conversely, if our institutions do not provide the substance for social cohesion, what will? Explain.
(5) Can you find ways - and what are they - that culture change in society is being used to engage people across the political spectrum?
