Q. Assume the kinetic energy of a 50kg ice skater melts the ice she is skating on. How fast does she need to skate to melt 8 grams of solid ice which is at its melting point? - Im kinda confused on this problem i know that you use 1/2mv^2 and mlatent fusion but what else do you need, the answer the teacher showed us is 10.3m/s?
