There are many practical situations in which control charts for nonconformities (defects) we prefer to work directly with the number of defects or nonformities rather than friction nonconforming.

For example these include the number of deflective welds 100m of oil pipeline, the number broken riverts in an aircraft wing , the number of functional defects in an electronic logic device , the number of errors on a document, the number of customers 1who elect to leave a sevice system without completeing their service request and so forth.

Given the example above the question is this true in your realm of work , if so explain explain why not , if you do not use this type of control chart , how do you think it could assist you inthe realm of work.
