Case Study: trace the development of human societies in the Americas from the arrival of Asiatic peoples in the Western Hemisphere (towards the end of the Last Glacial Maximum c. 12,000 years ago) to the creation of the United States of America in 1776. Specifically, what were the primary factors that informed the characteristics (population, location, living habits, organization, etc.) and divergent outcomes of indigenous and colonial societies?
