Question - A holiday venue advertises its services and includes the sentence 'We are a mere stone's throw from the beach.' The main building is in fact 200 metres from the beach. Sammy and Tammy, a honeymooning couple, see the advertisement and make a telephone booking for a week's holiday at the venue. When they arrive, they are disappointed that they have to walk 200 metres to the beach. How could they construct their argument under the statutory misleading or deceptive conduct provisions?
