Nisa Manna is a famous TV news reporter who has been employed for over 10 years at the JAM news Company Ltd (JNC). She is the head of media relations and chief reporter, and her duties involve interviewing high profile members of society on important issues. Nisa has won the `Best Journalist' award 6 times.
One day, Nisa is found hungover in her bedroom 1 hour before an important press conference is scheduled to begin, and she confesses that she was out drinking until 4 a.m. that morning. JNC also misses the opportunity to host an exclusive interview with the US President at that conference, and all the sponsorship associated with that interview as Nisa’s speech is incoherent.
The next day Stave Harkey, the CEO of the JNC writes Nisa a suspension letter based on her ‘negligent attitude to the job'.
The following day, without having spoken to the CEO since receiving the letter, Nisa calls the local radio station Talk Rawted FM and accuses the CEO of suspending her because she ‘refuses to sleep with him.’ She also says ‘Stave Harkey is the reason the journalism industry is in shambles.’ Upon hearing the remarks made by Nisa that morning, Stave Harkey gets frustrated and issues a letters of dismissal to Nisa at 6 .p.m. later that day. Nisa immediately asks her attorney to sue the JNC and seek the maximum damages possible. Did Nisa have a “negligent attitude to her job”? Look at whether Nisa had a DUTY, which was BREACHED resulting in DAMAGE.
