You have recently been assigned as part of a Public Health initiative (and NIH grant) to work with local employers about the benefits of having healthy employees. Part of your projects is directed at working with small to mid-level private entities in establishing a health benefits program for their employees (some do not have insurance plans and others are "under" insured). In the early phase of this project, your role is to build awareness about the issues and challenges employees have when they do not have health insurance. Develop a plan to educate employers and employees (keep in mind employees may have to take a pay cut to some degree) on the benefits, facts, myths, and statistics of how health services are provided via health insurance. Do not simply copy the text and illustrate into a different format. This is a project based concept where you are developing a program from the ground up. Also, you want this assignment to illustrate a possible (for the future) foundation for delivering an open seminar or education forum for the public. Think creatively, the goal is to have a healthier community through shared social an economic responsibility.
