Question: Learning Activity # 1 - Have your views on ethics have changed over the course of the past eight weeks?
This activity asks you to reflect on the extent, if any, your views on ethics have changed over the course of the past eight weeks, and how you can apply what you have learned in your personal and professional lives. As you recall we began our examination with a personal introspection of what ethics meant to you. This personal introspection impacts not only how we act ethically, but also how we expect others to act. This week we come full circle and again look at individuals and the need to establish personal values in order to shape our ethical mindset in the business arena. One of your readings for the week, "Making People Behave More Ethically, An MBA's View," examines the general question of what would make business people act more ethically and discusses several factors in this regard.
