  • Type of clutch system and transmission it is used for.
  • Closely observe the materials that is used on the clutch plate and why?
  • From your observation, if the damper springs is being eliminated than what dampening systems can be used to compensate the flexibility on the clutch surface area.

Task 2 Pressure plate

From the types of pressure plate displayed you will been to observe and generate a report on:

  • Characteristics of the different types of pressure plate design being displayed.
  • Does it matter to have different types and numbers of contact figures pressure plates.

Task 3- Release bearings

  • While you observe the different types of release bearings and in terms of a design perspective, can current release bearing design be modified?
