Assessment Task
This assessment requires the students to complete one task equivalent to 1200 words.
The purpose of Corporate Governance is to set out processes by which corporates are controlled and directed to create efficient enterprises contributing to building a strong, transparent, and competitive national economy. The Code of Corporate Governance for Public Listed Companies in Sultanate of Oman (2016) set out recommendations for improved Corporate Governance.
Appointed as external auditor of the public listed company, how you will deal:
- Discuss and introduce the objectives of corporate governance 200 words- Discuss the role of the executive and non-executive directors 400 words- Critically evaluate the role of the audit committee 500 words- Conclusion. 100 words
