Expendtition Outfitters's managment decided to begin production on two new parkas designed for use in cold weather, the Mount Everest Parka and the Rocky Mountain Parka. The manufacturing plant has 120 hours of cutting and 120 hours of sewing time available for producing these two parkas. Each Mount Everest Parka requires 30 mins of cutting and 45 mins of sewing time, and each Rocky Mountain Parka requires 20 mins of cutting time and 15 mins of sewing time. The labor and material cost is $150 for each Mount Everest Parka, and $50 for each Rocky Mountain Parka. The retail price for Mount Everest Parka is $250 and $200 for Rocky Mountain Parka. Because management believes that the Mount Everest Parka is a unique coat, they specified that 20% of the total production must consits of this model.

a) Formulate a linear programming model to find the # of units of each product to be produced to maximize the profit.

b) Develop an excel spreadsheet model to find the optimal solution.
