1. The forecast for demand in October 2016 was for 2500 units but actual demand in October 2016 was 2000 units. 

a. Using an exponential smoothing model with alpha () equal to 0.2, forecast demand for November 2016.

b. If, a month from now, actual demand in November 2016 was 3000 units, what would be the foretasted demand for December 2016?

And my answers to each question is as follows:

a. Demand forecast for November 2016 is 2400.

b. Demand forecast for December 2016 is 2520.

Does my answers seems accurate?

If not, can you please help me understand how to approach the question?
