Find the standard deviation

I am trying to find the standard deviation of the following numbers: 145; 210; 300; 178; 110; 237; 155; 187; 204; 205; 205; 287; 256; 200. I have computed the deviations from the mean by subtracting the mean from the raw scores. When finding the sum of these deviations, I continuously come up with a number other than zero regardless of how much I try to simplify the numbers. Am I doing something wrong? It is my understanding that the sum of the deviations from the mean must always add up to zero.
