A 60- Hz, four pole Y-connected induction motor is rated at 5 HP, 220V. The equivalent circuit parameters are

R1=0.48 ohms, X1=0.80 ohms, R2'=0.42 ohms, X2'=0.80 ohms, Xm=30 ohms

The motor is operating with slip of 0.04. Find the input current and power factor. Also find the air gap power, the mechanical power developed, and the electromagnetic torque.
