EITHER camphor (C10H16O)or naphthalene (C10H8)can be used to make mothballs. A 5 gram sample of mothballs purchased at K-Mart was dissolved into 100 grams of ethyl alcohol and the resulting solution had a boiling point of 78.89 degrees C. Determine what the mothballs were made of. Pure ethyl alcohol has a boiling point of 78.41 degrees C and Kb = 1.22 deg C/m for this solvent.
