Finding the conditional probability for the given data.

Suppose that, at USU, 60% of the faculty is male and 40% are female. Of the male faculty, 70% say they vote Democrat, versus 50% of the female faculty who say they vote Democrat.

(a) I pick one faculty member at random. What is the chance that this person votes Democrat?

(b) I pick a second faculty member at random from the original population and determine that this person votes Democrat. Given this fact, what is the conditional chance that the selected person is male?
