Magnetic Force Between Wires in a Circuit. An ENGR 100 team has designed an induction circuit for their project with a layout that places two parallel wires running between the light bulb and the coil a distance d = 20.0 cm apart. They measure a current of I = 0.5 A, flowing around the circuit (from the coil to the light bulb and back).

Assuming the parallel portion of the circuit may be described by long straight wire sections, and the permeability of free space, μo = 4 Π(10^-7) Tm/A.
