An inhomogeneously doped n-type semiconductor is at thermal and electrical equilibria. The donor concentration is given by NDD(x) = A•exp(-ax) where A and a are constants.

The variation of NDD with position is slow so that the semiconductor can be considered electrically neutral. -Find expression of the electric potential, V(x).
