An industrial waste water treatment plant discharges into a large river. the industrial waste water is at 1m^3/s and contains an ultimate BOD concentration of 300mg/L at a temperature of 30 degrees C and a DO concentration of 2.5mg/L. the velocity of the river is 1.5m/s. Upstream of the point of discharge, the river has a temperture of 11 degrees Celcius, an ultimate BOD of 22mg/L, a DO concentration of 10mg/L and a flow rate of 4m^#/s. the deoxygenation rate and the reoxygenation rate coefficients are 0.15d^-1 and 0.5d^-1 at 20 degrees Celcius respectively.
