Ambulance Response Time
In March 2013, the 17 ambulances in Manatee County, Florida, responded to 3645 calls. The response time is measured from the time the ambulance is notified of the call until the crew arrives on the scene. A random sample of the March response times was obtained.
a. Find a point estimate for the minimum response time.
b. Find a point estimate for the maximum response time.
c. Find a point estimate for the interquartile range of response times.
For each lettered part, a through c, examine the two given sets of numbers. Without doing any calculations, decide which set has the larger standard deviation and explain why. Then check by finding the standard deviation by hand .
Using the following data on 15 workers, construct an exact 95% confidence interval for µ.
Find the P value or an interval containing the P value for the sample test statistic.
Without making scatterplots, find the correlation and the least-squares regression line for all four data sets. What do you notice? Use the regression line to predict y for x = 10.
Single group post-test and internal validity threats - Answer the question either by writing the design name or by describing the design using standard notation
Assume that in a hypothesis test with null hypothesis H 0 : μ = 14.0 at a = 0.05, that a value of 13.0 for the sample mean results in the null hypothesis not being rejected. That corresponds to a confidence interval result of:

The following data represents the amount of time ( in minutes ) that a person had to wait for a bus to work on a random sample of 5 working days.
