Institutional Exploration and Student Population Review Presentation
This assignment has two goals. First, to provide students with an opportunity to explore a student "subpopulation" and second, to build collective awareness within the class of the diverse range of student populations present on college campuses across America.

You will develop a PowerPoint presentation worthy of presenting to the class which will center on the student population of your choice. On the PowerPoint, you will need to be sure to cover the following elements of your chosen population:
1. Presentation of students on campus (population, commonality, etc.)
2. Challenges or issues which the population may face that are not common to all student populations
3. Services, offices, and opportunities aimed at the student population
4. National trends for these populations
5. Identify three colleges or universities recognized for serving the population of your choice in a manner above what is common at other institutions; explain what they do.
To prepare this presentation and handout, you will need to complete the following:
1. Review the book Renn, K. A. & Reason, R. D. (2021). College students in the United States: Characteristics, experiences, and outcomes. San Francisco: Jossey-Bass
2. Identify colleges and universities noted for serving the population of your choice;
3. Readily identify factors that impact that population that are not common to the "general" student population
