Assignment:

We have all been involved in organizations. It could be as complex or simply such as having a job, working on a group project during school, volunteering with an organization, being a member of a church, and more. Consider times that you have been a member of an organization and the internal relationships that result. As you can imagine after reading this chapter these can be positive or negative. You could have experienced issues with peers, subordinates, supervisors, or all of the above.

1. Write explaining an incident related to internal relationships (positive or negative) and include concepts presented in the text. In other words, recall the time you had a poor supervisor who took credit for your idea. You would explain the story by identifying the supervisor's style (see page. 116), identifying your style (see page 117), and explaining a communication breakdown. I know that the information presented is aligned with policing, but it should not be hard to use this as a model to explain the situation.

2. Explain the outcome and describe what you learned about being a leader, subordinate, or peer for the future that you don't want to forget (this usually takes a few paragraphs.

Remember to incorporate concepts found within your text and use them in your writing, this is storytime with a purpose. Use your discretion on the amount of paragraphs or content you will provide to explain your answers.
