Sony Pictures hired Sasha Hamilton, age 16, to sing the title song in the new James Bond 007 movie scheduled to be recorded in November 2018 at a studio in Hollywood, California. The arrangements were made verbally in June 2017. Sasha agreed to perform and Sony Pictures agreed to pay her $300,000 for her performance. In April 2018, Sasha was videotaped at a party saying that she hated 007 movies because they were too violent and demeaning to women. As a result, Sony Pictures would like to cancel its verbal contract with Sasha.
