Explain what products would you observe if you tried to prepare a Grignard reagent from 4-bromo1-butanol? They give us a hint that says 4-hydroxybutylmagnesium bromide isn't the final product. First off I know that is presumed to react with the OH but we don't know what the reaction is doing otherwise.
