In this assignment you are a recent graduate and have been hired as an industrial engineer and your job is to set up the plant to produce a new product. The business it to make dinner ware for various markets this will include plastic utensils (forks, knives, spoon, etc) as well as low end flat ware suitable for institutions such as high school college cafeterias. You were given a very quick overview of the job, when your immediate boss Mr. Snerdley (Manager) of the Manufacturing Engineering had a massive heart attack and died. Mr. Snerdley's boss, Miss Parker has turned to you and named you the interim Manager or Manufacturing Engineering. She told you that this is a great opportunity and wished you luck. She also said that she would be leaving in two weeks on a six week cruise and that if you have any questions to please put them in a orderly fashion and to give them to her in writing. She expects this plant to be producing parts when she returns from her vacation.
