An 18.50g sample of aluminum is heated to 99.9 degrees C in a hot water bath until thermal equilibrium is reached. The aluminum sample is quickly transferred to 50.0mL of water at 23.8 degrees C contained in a calorimeter. When thermal equilibrium is reached, the temperature of the aluminum sample plus water mixture is 29.4 degrees C. What is the specific heat of aluminum?
