A tetraaquasalicylatoiron (III) complex calibration solution is prepared by transferring 0.50mL of a 0.00900 M salicylate dianion stock solution into a 10.00mL volumetric flask as well as diluting to the 10mL mark with 0.02 M iron(III) chloride that has been buffered to a pH of 1.6.
