If the pH on one side of a membrane is 7.3 and the pH on the other side is 6.9, what is the free energy change (DG) when protons are pumped across the membrane from the side of the membrane with low concentration to the side with high proton concenration at body temperature (37C)? The membrane potential is 0.06. Report your answer to the nearest kJ/mol.
