Explain what happens when a balloon with static electricity is brought next to a running stream of water? Why does this happen?
Netties answer during class our instructor took a balloon and rub it against the TV monitor. Then it brought it to a stream of running water, and noticed the water was pulling toward the balloon but never touching it. So, by rubbing the balloon against the TV with caused the balloon having static electricity, but do not know the correlation between why the movement?
