A street merchant is trying to sell you a 14 karat gold bracelet for 450$ ( 100% pure gold is 24 karats). The gold is alloyed with copper. Before buying the item you weigh it out to be 110 grams, you also measure its water displacement as 7.59ml. what is the percent composition of the gold bracelet? should you call the cops?
