•Here is the introduction explaining the situation and what I chose to do. (You must use this as the introduction piece).

One day, while I was at work in the Operating Room for a Military Treatment Facility, a certain case was added to our schedule towards the end of the day. It was labeled "Elective Termination," or in other words "abortion."

It was the first time we would perform this type of procedure in the operating room. Most of us were furious when we saw this since we are pro-life! But we didn't say anything to our boss since she was ok with it. Later that day, a co-worker came into my workspace talking about it as if it were just another regular surgery case.

Just then, our floor nurse overheard him and turned to him and said, "Well it's wrong and if you're ok with it and can sleep at night after doing so then that's on you but I don't want anything to do with this because it goes against what I believe in." He then turned to me and asked what I thought and I said "I am pro-life and I too believe this is wrong."

That co-worker went back and told on us then our boss came to us and said "Keep your comments to yourself," and then said she will be addressing this to everyone in our morning report. Although I knew it would probably get me in trouble, if one person has a belief and I don't agree with it I am going to say how I feel because it's my belief and I have a right to say how I feel too.
