A certain solution of the enzyme lysozyme (molecular weight 14600) in D2O with a mass concentration of 80 mg/cm3 in a 0.10-mm-long absorption cell is found to have a transmittance of 8.3% for infrared radiation of wavelength 6000 nm. Find the absorbance of the solution and the molar absorption coefficient of lysozyme at this wavelength.
