Read Chapter 13 of the textbook.
Watch the Phil Davison candidate speech. As you review this speech, notice that Phil does not support his claims with evidence; however, he uses too much emotion and overwhelms the audience. Note how his choreographed gestures, pacing, and erratic vocal delivery take away from the effectiveness of his message. It is not surprising that he did not get his party's nomination!
