Imagine that earthquakes threatened many Byzantine mosaics, which mosaics would you save? Why? Be specific and explain the elements of the mosaics and what characteristics (artistic and historic) that weighed upon your decision to save those particular pieces. You need to choose two separate mosaics and describe each one and state the reason for saving them in separate postings to receive full credit. Each should have historical and/or artistic relevance to the Byzantine period. Each researched posting should be at least a couple of good quality paragraphs.
