Write 150 words. In Wuthering Heights, why do you think Catherine chooses Edgar even though she believes Heathcliff to be a part of her own soul, as she puts it? What do you think of her decision? Again, if you're able to make connections to the works and ideas in previous semesters, go ahead. One of the goals of the course is to make connections between changing and unchanging ideas of love and desire throughout literary history.
