Brenda is the food service manager of Oak Hills Nursing Home. Brenda has been running around all day trying to organize everything before she leaves for her vacation. Just prior to leaving work, she posts her employees' schedule for the next 2 weeks on a bulletin board and asks the evening cook to tell the staff to check the board for any posted updates and changes to their schedule. She forgets to write in the communication book that a new resident had been admitted that day. At 3:00 pm, he heads out the door for his much-needed vacation.
