Given a particle of mass m confined to rectangular surface pf length L1 in the x- direction and L2 in the y direction. potential energy is zero everywhere inside the 2D rectangular surface except at the walls, where it is infinite.

a) write the Hamiltonian and eplicit Schrodinger.

b) Divide the wavefunction ω (x,y) into two ordinary differntioal equations by the seperation of variable technique.

c) show that wavefunction ω (x,y) and energy are defined by two quntum numbers.
