we did a miniscale synthesis of 1-bromobutane from 1-butanol in lab and i have to write the reaction mechanisms in each step a reactant was added. the first step was adding sodium bromide and water to a round bottom flask and stirring it until the sodium bromide had dissolved. 1-butanol was then added. following that sulfuric acid was added and we did a reflux. from the reflux we got a distillate and we did a separation with water in a seperatory funnel to extract the organic layer. we then added saturated sodium bicarbonate to it in the separatory funnel and again separated the organic layer. after that we collected the organic layer and added anhydrous sodium sulfate to it. Can someone please give me the step-by-step reaction mechanism for this synthesis.

How much NaOH in grams is needed to prepare 546 mL of solution with a pH of 10.00? The molecular weight of NaOH is 40.0 g/mol. Hint: Since NaOH is a strong base it ionizes (disassociates) completely. The OH- concentration equals the initial concen..
the slopes corresponding to standard Beer's Law plots were as follows: ?IA = 0.072 ?IB = 0.306 ?IIA = 0.760 ?IIB = 0.036 Using this data, calculate the ratio between the relative concentrations of MR- and HMR in this solution.
