"Does your spectrum allow you to confirm that the structure of the product is a combination of the two reactants? Briefly explain."
Does one just start looking for peaks similar between the product's spectrum and the reactants' spectra? Because for some reason, there are not many similar peaks between the three spectra (2 reactants = anthracene and maleic anhydride; 1 product = 9,10-dihydroanthracene-9,10-α,β-succinic anhydride). So does anyone know how to go about answering this?
