Benjamin Franklin is one of the most beloved figures from American History. The elder statesman by the time of American Revolution, Franklin was regarded by many in both Europe and American Colonies to be epitome of what it meant to be the ‘American.' He was considered leading intellectual of period also publisher, inventor, diplomat and political philosopher. Franklin's Autobiography was originally intended for his son but was published publicly soon after his death in 1790. His story captures observations on colonial American life in Philadelphia also his views on literature, philosophy and religion.
