Important information about pH and MolarityYou add 5 drops of .100 M HCl to 100ml of "pure" water. Assuming that the volume of one drop is .035ml, calculate the expected pH of the resulting solution.
At first I thought I should multiply .035ml by 5 and then add the value found to 100ml.But now I am stumped. Should I add, they give the molarity of water, 1 x 10^-7 M to the .100M HCl? I understand how to calculate the pH, but I'm stumped as to how I should find the molarity.
