1. The Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938 had three major provisions. Almost 75 years later, this legislation affects us all. Explain how this legislation is still important today.

2. The Social Security Act, 1935, is a very significant piece of legislation in the history of social welfare. Why was it significant in 1935 and why is it significant today?
