For the following reaction, the rate expression is found to be second order in [A] and zero order in [B].

2A+B->C

Obviously, B has to be part of the reaction. Explain how the rate expression can be zero order in [B] (i.e. changing the [B] does not change the overall rate of the reaction) even though B has to be part of the reaction to make C.
