Problem- We need 1.00L of an acetic acid/acetate (Ka= 1.80x10-5) buffer with a starting pH of 4.500. It must be able to resist the addition of 20.00mL of 0.500M NaOH while remaining below pH 5.250. How many mL of 1.00M stock acid and 0.500M NaOH base solution must be used in preparation of this buffer?

Please demonstrate all work. Thank you in advance
