The internal energy change, E for the conversion of 1 mol of Compound A to Compound B is +0.2 kJ. Both A as well as B are solids with densities of are 2.5 and 3.0 g/cm3 respectively.

(a) Compute the difference between enthalpy and internal energy when the pressure is 1 bar.

(b) Perform the computation again when the pressure is raised to 100bar.

(c) Under what circumstances is it reasonable to presume that E and H are identical?
