Brass has a specific heat capacity of 0.393 Joules/g C. A paperweight weighing 129g is heated to 95.0 C. Then it is added to 44.6g of water in a calorimeter having a temperature of 25.0 C. The temperature reaches a maximum reading of 40.0 C. What is the specific heat capacity of the paper weight? is it brass?
